Hello, and welcome! I’m Courtney Creed, LCMHCA (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate). I work with adults, couples, teens/children, and families navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, religious trauma, ADHD, body image/self-esteem struggles, boundary-setting, parenting, family dynamics, and life transitions.

Specialties:

  • Anxiety/Depression

  • Religious Trauma

  • ADHD

  • Body Image & Self-Esteem

  • Parenting & Family Dynamics

  • Life Transitions

  • Couples Counseling (Gottman Method)

I believe every individual holds a unique set of strengths and an immense capacity for growth. A core aspect of my work is the understanding that you are your own expert. In our sessions, I aim to help you better understand yourselfβ€”your motivations, your story, and the ways your past, beliefs, and experiences have shaped youβ€”so that you can move toward the version of yourself you most want to be.

In my practice, I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), sand tray therapy, strengths-based interventions, and the Gottman Method for couples.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me walking around parks or lakes with my pup and a friend, reading at a favorite coffee shop, trying out a new recipe with my partner, or planning my next mountain trip.

COUNSELING APPROACH

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, rooted in trust and openness. I believe in creating a warm and supportive environment where you feel safe, seen, and heard. I’ll walk alongside you as we explore your challenges and strengths, empowering you to make meaningful changes and step into the life you want to live.

I’m so honored to be working alongside you!

Courtney Creed, LCMHCA

A THERAPIST WHO KNOWS HER STUFF

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s degree and later earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. During my training, I provided counseling services to individuals, couples, children, and families, and gained experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns. I also facilitated both individual and group sessions, focusing on helping clients build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and achieve their personal goals.
